Jab SULTAN ka naam
dhyaan aata hai toh sirf aur sirf Salman Khan ka naam aata hai. In Kolkata too,
there is another Sultan but that’s a name of Restaurant located near lake view
road, Deshapriya Park. This was my first visit to this place and I was highly
excited to have their food, especially Biryani as I have heard a lot about
them.
Our menu includes some
of the amazing and delicious mouthwatering foods. Here are the counts stated
below:
- Kiwi Daiquiri
I literally loved
the green colored mocktail, prepared with fresh kiwifruit and lemon juice. It
refreshed me totally.
- Pyare Kabab
This beautiful stuff is
prepared with minced mutton followed by butter, onion, chili, coriander leaves
etc. It was too soft that makes you feel the greatness of
it.
- Dahi ka Kabab
I don’t like curd as I
avoid it always. After hearing the name, I made my mind not to have it but
finding the way of presentation, it forced me to taste it once and I must say I
fall in love with it. This lovely food is prepared with hung curd or greek
yoghurt followed with paneer , onion and regular spice. Anyone visiting Sultan,
must have this stuff for sure.
- Afgani Naan
It’s very different from naan
comparing to other restros. Combination with Methi Malai Matar made it more
delicious.
- Methi Malai Matar
Very well prepared dish
that contain green peas, fenugreek leaves, fresh cream and ghee. A super vegie
stuff….
- Murgh Nawabi
When you are at a place of
Sultan, then how anyone can forget about Murgh Nawabi. This is another special
preparation from them, which is simply a magical stuff that you can’t resist to
have.
- Biryani (Veg/chicken/Mutton)
- Raita & Salad
Very nicely decorated
and served
- Firni
Closing the food journey with firni
is something next to awesome. I loved their way of presentation.
If you’re a big fan of
mughlai dishes and biryani and want a pocket friendly place, then I recommend
this place to visit once. Hope they will come with their new outlets in central
and north Kolkata soon. Thanks to entire team of Sultan for their classy food
and hospitality.
