To enjoy the great combo of Ambiance,
Music and Food, one must give K Local lounge a try. It’s a nice place to party
with friends while for romantic private dine out with your partner. In-house
RJ, song selections will impel you to open up yourself on the dance floor.
Lighting, decor, friendly & efficient staffs and the whole ambiance make it
a perfect lounge bar to enjoy yourself as you like.
I recently visited this place
with my oldies. We chose the outdoor private sitting area (we booked it prior)
and it was serene, cosy and beautiful. We spend nearly 4 hours there…ate some
great starters, then danced to death ;-) and ate again - and a looo…t!
At first we had some refreshing mocktails - Minty Melon, Virgin Hurricane & Cherry Bomb.
Next came the Salad - Way To
Healthy Lifestyle which was very tasty too! The Red Wine Vinegar dressing is
awesome treat to tongue.
Aren’t Kolkata and Phuchka
synonymous? Yes actually! So, how may one miss the K Local Phuchka? Loaded with
massaledar aloo, chola (chickpea) and lemon sour cream and served along the
yummy khatta pani, this starter is just OMG!
I die for the Exotic Bullets -
these are really too cheesy and crunchy…
Spicy and fresh cottage cheese and spring onion stuffed Veg Bao is Wow
Wow!
The same was the Non Veg Bao.
Teriyaki chicken and cheese stuffed Bao was just Wow!
Bhatti Ke Lollypop was another hit of the evening. Loved the spicy, tangy &
juicy taste.
Perfect fusion of Conti-Indie
taste - Thyme Crusted Chicken Kebab melts in mouth and the flavour of thyme and
mayo is splendid…came with roasted papad & dip
But the Rice Coated Chicken Dumpling was not too goo, may be due to the more
spicy and flavourful foods we had before and after it…but the presentation of
the dish was really a feast for the eyes.
Thin Crust Pizza is really too thin and very crispy. Exotic Veg on Top and
the Indiana Non Veg pizza are two best options to try and love in no time.
And now the time to reveal your love for the Prawns… The wow effect of the Panco
Coated Butterfly Prawns are still left in my soul… Love it!
Would you believe, all these
were our starters and some small bites? But it’s actually :-D We had a lot more food in the main course
(after a 30 min exhaustive dance though!) In the mains, we had -
The fresh green color Spaghetti
Pesto Oil filled with the basil aroma is a good start alongside the
complementary crispy Garlic bread
Next was the Spinach Permesan Risotto, another Italiano green treat came along
Garlic bread
The much heard Burmese meal
platter Khao Suey is my favorite pick from of the evening. Awesome noodle soup
platter served with multiple condiments of Burma… great Pan-Asian treat
We wished for some Desi tastes, so came the Dal Makhani… (without Jack Daniel)
along with fluffy Naan - the perfect Punjabi pinch
And when it’s the Kolkata foodies, isn’t Chicken Biriyani a must? Yes
obviously, otherwise a dine out is incomplete… When the Chicken Biriyani is
with egg & aloo containing the perfect Kolkata touch and come along the
raita, papad and fresh green salad, it’s heavenly… Served in a Copper Handi, K
Local makes it a statement dish…
Come at K Local and
enjoy the City of Joy… the perfect amalgamation of different cultures and
cuisines! Every moment will be exclusive here!
