Mamagoto - Mecca for Asian Food

Literally means ‘to play with food’, and practically too, the Mamagoto restaurant in the busy Park Street area is undoubtedly a gastronomic’s heaven. One of the most popular Pan Asian fusion restaurant in Kolkata, It is fairly hyped and I was really eager to visit the place .

So, finally the day came as I was invited by my best buddies in a success party last week. My overall experience was so good that I could not stop myself from writing a long review. I really want to share my amazing experience here with you all.

Firstly, I would like to talk about the decor, ambiance. I really didn’t expect this restaurant would be perfectly located on the busy bustle streets of the nostalgic yet too vivid Park Street area. But, it is. Spread within two floors, the ground floor is little polished while the top floor is too vibrant and lively and simultaneously attractive with its quirky decor. It will strike every eye, you can’t ignore the appeal.

And, oh my god! That fat lady wallpaper - I couldn’t stop laughing seeing that! We captured the table just against the picture too! And not only that one, was every decorative art equally surprising with the amazing touch of the Chinese and Jap arts. Even the chairs are of different look, worth mentioning. Lighting is also very soothing and the whole ambience is very lively still very calming. It’s like we can spend several hours without being bored. 

And a special mention of the staffs must require. They were very friendly throughout the time and that particular one who served our table is very knowledgeable about every dish, their prep and suitability regarding our choice of taste. Most of our orders were suggested by him, and I musty say everything was perfectly Superhit!

From sweet tooth to spicy lovers, from small bites to large platters - Mamagoto has it all to make you feel extra cared. And so, visit must to enjoy fusion Pan Asian at its best!!!
