D Rajnikhant Dosa - A new destination for South Indian food

As a food blogger and lover, I always stay in search of new places and definitely new cuisines. This time I was with my 3 musketeers near kalighat metro. While moving to the food court of lake mall. We found a glow sign where the mega star Rajnikant pic was blinking. This find us in interesting mood and we liked to step in there.

It was a South Indian Dosa Parlour with varieties of dosa served in both south indian and Chinese style. Being an out and out South Indian lover, we planned to taste their super delicious looking food. They display menu appealed a lot as there were Chinese Dosa! Chocolate Dosa and many more.

We were 4 people all together and we had had to try the quirky (?) Dosa preps. We ordered for -

  • Cheese Burst Dosa

This super crunchy paper Dosa was spiced up with cheese, mayonnaise, and schezwan paste and served in pieces with Chutneys.

  • Chili Cheese Dosa

Dosa was served along with grated veggies cooked in delicious cheese gravy and chutney… We loved the spicy and delectable taste

  • Open Dosa

It’s also served in pieces along with chutneys… This one had awesome layers of veggies, cheese and tomato and a heavy feel

  • Paneer Crispy Dosa

This one was served very nicely… Dosa rolls stuffed with crushed paneer, veggies, lots of cheese and topped with mayonnaise, it was overwhelmingly Wow!

  • Manchurian Dosa

This fusion Chinese Dosa I loved most… Manchurian flavored paper dosa with Chinese Manchurian dumpling in soy sauce gravy… heaven comes on platter… Spicy & Succulent… Must Try!

  • Chocolate Dosa

Another MUST Try… You can’t miss it… Paper plain dosa with chocolate mud and chocolate syrup… Perfect Sweet End...

After talking of the loving menu (there are many more to explore), if we turn to the price tags, this place offers a very pocket friendly choices. Moreover, all dishes were served quickly yet perfectly prepared and garnished. The overall experience was an appreciable wholesome affair.

Those who are fond of South Indian foods, specifically Dosa, like me should definitely check out this place. They have a long menu to choose from. Though it may seem confusing, you can trust on the owner’s suggestion. The person who served us, was very cordial and approaching for any order suggestion and recipe queries.

If you want to taste some awesome fusion Indian food without hurting your pockets, try this place and have great fun... I swear, you’ll love it!

Highly Recommended :)
